She received B.Arch. degree in 1995 from ITU Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture, M.Arch. degree in 1997 and Ph.D. degree in 2006 from ITU Graduate School of Science, Engineering and Technology. In 2009-2010 (9 months) and in 2013 (3 months), she studied as a visiting post-doc researcher in ‘Universidade de Lisboa – Instituto Superior Técnico’ with TUBITAK scholarship, and received Associate Professor title in 2015. She has been working at ITU Department of Architecture since 1998. She has studies on building technology, constructional design in architecture, environmental sustainability and infrared thermography.
